Abby Drake’s Response re Medallions Given During the Alumni Emeriti Club Induction Ceremony

July 19, 2017

"What makes the Alumni Emeriti Club induction ceremony during Homecoming so special is that this gives Gallaudet an opportunity to express appreciation for alumni of more than 50 years for their loyalty, service, and support to Gallaudet.  They will receive a medallion which can only be presented in person by the University President. The program is a graduation-like ceremony with the President and Provost in full graduation regalia, historical tidbits from that class' time, the presentation of the medallion and a photo opportunity with the President.

This is also a very special time for the class celebrating their 50th class reunion because this brings one down memory lane, remembering their time at Gallaudet where members of the class celebrated their legacy together. The emeriti club gives you the opportunity to do that once again as a class."
